okay it seems to me I fail to understand the search in FCP.

I want to search for folder NAMES not just the content. is this impossible or am i doing something wrong?

I just hit cmd + f and enter my search term and make sure it’s set to search everything but it doesn’t do the trick. so i am starting to guess FCP cant even search for folder names.

that’s sadly not the case. I am in my browser window because it will find any footage by name (which is stored in folders in my browser window) BUT it will simply ignore folder names.

so to sum it up: FCP is actually able to look / search after folder names? because I can’t find an answer on that one on the Internet. thanks
