    Hi all,
I need help with a problem,
I rendered out a video for a client (540 frames with AO),
and when i hit to save the render as a quicktime animation,
It seems to only save the last 10 or so seconds?
Yet in the renderer i can see all the frames it rendered!? :S

This is extremely frustrating as i need to get this render to the client asap,
(i have had this problem a few times and only way i have fixed it is re-rendering the entire thing again :/)

    Thanks for your time!

    Just to be clear…

You render to picture viewer and when it completes, the QuickTime file that is written to your hard drive only contains the last 10+ seconds?

But in the picture viewer you can see that it has rendered ALL of the frames you wanted?

    Yep,
It may be a QuickTime file problem,
    Im not sure,
But ever since i switched to QuickTime as my primary render codec etc,
    I have had this problem,
Also when i try to play it in the picture viewer only the last 30 – 50 frames have green dots on them? does that help?

Hmmm. What codec are you using for Quicktime?

Maybe do a short test render using another codec for Quicktime, and/or using another format altogether?

Are you clicking the Save box in the Render Settings and having this problem, or are you rendering to the Picture Viewer without the Save box being checked and trying to save after the animation has rendered out into the Picture Viewer window?
