Activity Forums Adobe After Effects Can’t reduce audio level

    I have a .caf file from Soundtrack Pro, saved as a .wav file and then imported to AE. Regardless of the bitrate, sampling or audio levels (even at -96 db), the audio remains unaffected when I preview. Very puzzling as I have never had the issue before.

    How odd. Have you tried resetting After Effects preferences?
