Can’t Record Voiceover in FCP X
I just got a new iMac and started working on an FCP X project. I can’t record any audio with the Voiceover Tool. Record button is greyed out and meters don’t show any level. The Voice Memo app works fine. It doesn’t work with my Onyx Blackjack or even the Built-in iMac microphone.
Any ideas?

If you haven’t done it already, you have to open a project, then the controls will light up.

New Mojave security settings too. You have to go into security settings and give FCPX access to the mic. My buddy Stanislaw shows the fix here https://youtu.be/wrl6LIVXTN0
