can’t play back
I am trying to capture vhs through an analog/digital converter. I think my settings are wrong because when I hit record…the picture freezes though above the picture the rate of capture increases…. but when i esc to stop record… choose file name… then try to open the file…it says i can’t open it due to eith damaged file, unsupported video….or whatever…. can anyone walk me through this?

Can you capture ok from a camcorder? What A/D converter are you using?
