I have tried to open up a specific sequence in a FCP file and it will not open. I get a “File not found” messege, followed by an “Out of Memory” message. I then went back to the autosave vaults and they didn’t open that sequence.
I then made the sequence offline through the Media Manager, re-digitized the media at 10 bit, and that worked for a bit, then I got the same “File Not Found” message followed by “Out of Memory” message.

    Thanks for your time, Kwesi

Without being able to see your machine, I’m only guessing, but it sounds like capture media is going to a folder that you do not really have access privileges for. This also happens when reference moves are created form media that goes offline.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
