Can’t open Premier File
Hi there,
I have a project file I completed in December. I am attempting to re-open the file to make revisions to the project. The file resides on a portable 4TB GRAID drive. When I open it on the original computer I edited the project on it opens just fine but non of the files will play. I can click on any media file and it will not play when I selected the play button or hit the space bar. No file, no timeline, nothing will play.
So, I then attempted to open the file on a different computer. Now the file won’t open at all, It just crashes everytime It starts to open.We recently switched from being a mainly Avid / FCP house to Premier. This is one of the first larger projects we did on Premier CS6. Does Premier have issues with corrupting files? This could be a huge problem. I even tried going back to older saved files and they won’t open either.
Premier is still working fine though, a current project I am working on (on same hard drive) Opens just fine and I can edit it with no issues. Just this particular project is having issues, I never had any issues with it before now.Any ideas on some trouble shooting to get this project up and running again?

Start an empty project, go to Import > Premiere Pro Project and try to load your original file. This works surprisingly well.
