Can’t make directory, fails to build previews/proxies
Hi everyone,
I am having the same problem with different clips. I can’t see a common setting between them, it just says that fails.

Most likely, without any more info, it’s the permissions on your proxy folder/volume.
Check that under media search paths and make sure you have read/write to that directory.

How can I check those permissions? I see everything normal in media search path… what kind of information would you need?

Permissions are controlled by your OS. CatDV merely points and shows the path.
What tends to happen is that people define a drive that they only have read only permissions to and then of course CatDV can’t write to it.
You can google permissions checking for whichever OS you are on. On a Mac you can “get info” on the folder or drive to check that you have read/write.
