Can’t load Avi files to particle illusion

You;re probably using a an AVI with a codec that pIllusion doesn;t understand.

What codec are you using? How did you make the AVI?

I tried to import an avi file from premiere, i could only load non compressed files.

I think that by defualt premiere may be rendering using DV codec. Choose another non DV format, or better yet an image sequence such as aa Tiff Targa or PNG sequence.
