Can’t instal AE7 on my new machine??
Hi and thanks for any advice…
Hi i’ve been running AE7 professional version on a a HP XW8000 no problem. I’ve bought a new HP XW8400 and cannot seem to install..
All system requirement are met but it does not even really attempt to install the software from DVD.. It stop with no error message.
Any thoughts most welcome..

do both pc’s have the same version of windows?
if the new one is vista, there may be some issues with the installer. check with adobe.
if they both have the same version of windows, then the only things i can think of are you need to have admin privileges, your computers are on a network and ae7 may be seeing the same ae7 on another computer (just pull one off the network).

I don’t get as far as the SN so its no to it beeing a network/licencing proplem
Also they are both the same as far as operating system…. and I have admin status…
still stuck any other thoughts…
