    Hello. I have camcorder HDR HC5. When I try to capture video in Adobe premiere CS6 it always captures it in MP3 format. Setting are okey in camcorder. I tried with DV and HDV, with both I have this problem. But then one guy told me to capture with “Split”. It worked. It captured it with .m2t format. But Adobe after effects cs6 dont want to import video file. says that video is corrupted. I have full version of after effects, no trial. I also tried to convert it to mpg but still same error comes. Sorry for my bad English and thanks

    You’ll want to use firewire to capture HDV from tape playing in the camera.
    Choose the HDV capture settings like pic here:

    And

    Make sure your capture location is a fast hard drive for media. Not your OS drive.
