Yes, I trashed prefs before. But I did it again just for kicks and still nada.

Try going to the log and transfer preferences and turn off the option to remove redundant frames/pulldown.

Well, there’s a couple of things that I have in mind as this process usually just works and since it’s not working it leads me to believe there’s a conflict on your system somewhere.
I would reinstall the P2 drivers (and not the AVC-i codec).
Has this process ever worked on this system?
DO you have other footage there to try (or access to a camera to shoot something quick)?
Do you have the Sony SxS drivers installed?
Have you tired making a new user on your system and retrying?

Wait a minute, I might have over thought this.
Give me an example of how the cards are named. Give me the path like
Hard Drive > ThisProjectFolder > FolderName > FolderName > CONTENTS …etc
Can you give me the exact path for that?

Hi Jeremy et al:
I’m finally getting back to troubleshooting this issue. And…I solved it! I went digging into the Library -> Application Support and found some extraneous FxFactory stuff. Thought I had purged my system of all of it before. Anyway, once sending that stuff to the trash, Log and Transfer window was able to show and import the clips.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Hopefully this info will help someone else out.
