can’t import footage
I am trying to import P2 footage in final cut and final cut gives me a STREAM ERROR when I try to log my footage.
any clue how to solve this?
i copied my footage from the P2 card on a USB hard drive and copied that on my mac and tried to log it from my mac hard drive and tried to log it from the external hard drive but nothing works.

Did you use a copy and verify software like P2CMS or Shotput to transfer the P2 files from the P2 card onto hard drive?
If not,
Did you copy the complete card?

Sure hope you copied each card in full to individual folders on the USB drive… 🙁
There is a lot of very necessary data and meta data scattered around those P2 cards required for proper import.
Also be sure that the P2 drivers installed are you machine.
