Can’t import DPX Sequence
I can’t get After Effects to import any of the DPX sequences that were delivered from my FX guy. I’ve tried dragging in a single frame, a folder, selecting all the frames, every combination therein.
In the import dialogue, when I select a DPX file, it says, “Sequence Not Available” and is grayed out underneath the “Import As” drop down.
When I drag in a folder of DPX files, I get this error —
“After Effects error: file “Ep01_007a’ cannot be imported — files of type “VooM” cannot be used as sequences. (39::7) -

Have you installed the ? It fixes some DPX import problems.

Hello,
I had the same issues and here is how I fixed it.
1- Re-convert your files with Adobe Media encoder to mp4 format
2- Go back to after effect and in your project directory click on Import File or multiple files and select the video not the folder.
3- Boom, you should have the videos imported in your After effectsBest,
