I encode my video from Premeire into a blue ray m2v and when I import to Encore CS6 I get the message: encore error parsing metadata file. Deleting or renaming the hard drive will allow import but I’ll lose the chapter markers. I can import mpeg1 and mp4 and m4v no problem. I can import an m2v for DVD also.
I want to burn a Blue ray disc. I will then make a DVD master by changing the burn options, so I want the optimum file for both uses.I know that the BD m2v will have to be transcoded when I burn the DVD, but I would like to just have one master.
m2v is the standard file for making discs. Why can’t I import?
