Activity Forums Broadcasting Can’t get SONY broadcast monitor crisp

    1920 x 1200 @ 60hz (NTSC Television).

    This isn’t NTSC or any other flavor of TV for that matter.

    Get a proper video card for your Mac. Decklink or Kona.

    Get the SDI module for the monitor

    Plug it in. Done.

    It isn’t sharp and clear because you are sending it a computer signal, not a broadcast signal. You are sending a non-standard frame size…and an RGB signal, not YUV. It won’t look sharp unless you feed it a signal with an HD Capture card. AJA, Matrox, Decklink…
