  • Cant get object to scale on all 3 axes at the same time

Posted by Ryan Paterson on September 5, 2014 at 5:56 am

It was working fine about 20mins ago, but now I can only get 2 axes to scale at a time… it’s driving me insane. None of my axes are locked in the top bar, so it must be somewhere else. Any thoughts?

You’ve probably locked one of the axis gizmo handles inadvertently. Check and see if one of handles is yellow instead of the regular red, blue, or green. If so, Ctrl + double-click on the end of the handle to unlock it.

Yep that did it! It’s incredibly hard to tell the difference of color between the green and yellow they use (I’m a little colorblind) so I didn’t even notice the switch. I wish they’d use black or something. Thanks for the help!
