    Hey,

I’m struggling to get a .cube LUT to work in DaVinci. I’ve tried it in both the Kodak and Cinespace folders in the LUT folder of the Resolve application support folder.

    (LUT at end of post)

    Any ideas?

EDIT: to be more specific, when the LUT is loaded Resolve displays black.

    Resolve 8.01

    LUT: 2672_loglinprintrec709b.cube.zip

    Hi Toby,

We tried this on a few machines here. It seems to work for us, both OpenCL and CUDA.

    /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/LUT/CineSpace

Could you make sure the account you are running this from has write permissions in the folder? There should be a file with the same name and with a 3dlut extension and with a size of 431244 bytes.

    Regards,
    Rohit

That’s odd, that file wasn’t there before, but it is now, after several ‘refresh list’ clicks in the LUT tab and several restarts of DV.

    Thanks!

p.s. Anyone want to share a RedLogFilm to RedGamma/RedColor2 LUT?

    https://www.arridigital.com.

Go to the LUT generator and make a LogC to Video LUT, extended range in and out, no matrix. Force 3D LUT generation, select DaVinci format.
