can’t finder copy to two destinations at the same time
laptop on 10.7.4, tower on 10.7.3 both exhibiting the same issue.
two external drives, copying the same file to both at the same time. one copy starts, and goes fine, the second copy hangs up on the “calculation portion” and doesn’t actually start copying until the first drive is done.
you take two DIFFERENT files and copy to two different drives, it works just fine. tried on fw 800 and esata. and a mixture of both.
even used a terminal script i have that usually copies to 2 drives at the same time with md5 checksum, and it still defaults to copying to one drive first than the next.
only way I got it working to go to two destinations is opening that script up in two instances and have each terminal session downloading to each drive individually.
anybody having the same issue and found a fix?
macbook pro 17 inch, 2011 model
mac tower early 2009 model, “4.1” 8 core.
needless to say, dealing with on set backups alone, this makes it a major pain.
