  • can’t find the right signal for wireless mic

I have the sony UHF wireless microphones and I always have a constant hum/buzz in the recording. I can’t figure out what frequency or channel to put them on to make it stop. Any suggestions?

You fail to mention what’s between your receiver(s) and your camera. Are you using a mixer?
Or straight to Cam? Could be many variables…. Poor cable/connection, mixer input or output bad, inputs on camera…Or the receiver has short, etc.

OR you might be unbalancing a balanced feed by going down to a phono or mono jack and the earth may be incorrectly wired?

What is the complete signal chain
