I figured out how to get Vegas 11.0 to make ac3 5.1 audio streams as an mts file.

When I set dvd architect to bluray and ac3 5.1, then insert the mts file from vegas, it shows up as a stereo only signal. Then if I make the dvd, it is actually a stereo only signal.

I have studied the manuals, what step am I missing?

    Thanks
    John

    Is there anyone for help?

Is there anyone who has created a 5.1 surround sound project using Vegas 11 and DVD architect?

Forgive me, John, for my bad English.

Got authoring DVD and Bluray in DVDA 5.2 with Dolby AC-3 5.1 as follows:

1º) I was render in Vegas Pro 11 only video (no audio) in MPEG2, full HD (1920 x 1080)and saved inner folder the files (file’s_name.m2v, file’s_name.m2v.sfl and file’s_name.m2v.sfvx).

2º) After that, I was render only audio in Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro (5.1 surround DVD option) and saved in the same folder with the same name (very very important) the files (file’s_name.ac3; file’s_name.ac3.sfk and file’s_name.ac3.sfl).

3º) Then, wonrking at DVDA 5.2, when the video file is inserted, audio is automatically inserted, and… “voilà”. Perfect 5.1 surround sound media. Any questions send me e-mail pausa@terra.com.br.
