Hello everyone, so I tried to use google and this forums to search an answer to my question..
I’ve been trying to fix it out for like two weeks now, couldn’t find any way..so I just gave up and here we go.. I’m making a topic :).

And for your information, I formatted my computer about 2months ago.
I had sony vegas pro 12 before and everything worked fine..those problems came up only after I formatted my computer.. and I formatted my computer like I did in other times..just the same.
And this error came up so.. I’m kind frustrated here..

Well, so the first problem is :
When I add a text by clicking on :
    1)Insert
    2)Text Media

The window where I suppose to type what I want in the text pops up, but I can’t change the text.

Here you go for screenshot : https://oi39.tinypic.com/28mioax.jpg

    The second problem is :
When I add some effect to my video, I can’t play with the settings of the effect I added, usually the effect comes up fine but I can not change the settings of the effect.
For example, blur effect.. I can’t change the settings of the blur..

Anyways buddies! I’ll be thanksfull for any help about that issue.

    Thanks in advance,
    -Shnepsey.

What build of Vegas are you running? You could try Ctlr+Shift on firing up Vegas to reset to Factory default.

Is it possible that formatting the disc has required you to register your copy of Vegas? Maybe you’ve used up your Serials?

Could be that formatting and the subsequent Restore has broken some necessary linkages to the various elements of running the Vegas, and there that would be the Registry for the Fx-ing and Text modules. Other than a full removal of Vegas and then a reinstall I’m out of ideas.

    Keep us posted – yeah?
