  • Can’t drag clip to canvas

    Hi

I can’t seem to drag the clip from my viewer to the canvas window. When I do the clip just disappears. There’s no recognition of the clip in the canvas window at all – it just disappears (as I darg it) from the viewer.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Kimberley

    Hi Kimberley,

if you’re dragging from the viewer to the canvas, as you hover the clip over the canvas your editing options should appear ‘insert/overwrite/replace etc etc)

if your trying to drag the clip from the canvas to the viewer (which is actually trying to re-position the clip way off in the x-y space) then it disappears as you describe,

If anyone else is dealing with this.
Make sure your Viewer is set to “Image” and not “Image+Wireframe.”

If it is the latter it will try and position the selection within the Viewer and therefor not let you drag outside of it.
