    Hi All,

I am almost too embarrassed to post this but hey, after getting nowhere with this little problem my humility has been relegated to the background….

I have been using pro 2 for some time and have come to know it quite well. The problem is, i have just migrated to premier cs3 and i am having a problem from the very start!

I have captured some footage and have it playing in the source window but when I go to drag it onto the time line (like i do in pro2) it wont go.

The possible solution might be to do with the time line because, at present, it consists of 2 blank tracks with NOTHING else on or around them.

Have i not turned something on to view the tracks as the normally would be, or what.

I have tried to drag the clip name from the file bin area but it wont drag the clip onto the timeline that way either.

I know this is basic, basic stuff but the help file doesnt help and after using pro2 successfully fot he last 6 months
    this is ridiculous.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

I don’t know why this is happening seriously not good.
The same process in PPro2 apply in CS3 nothing has changed regarding adding to the timeline. Better reinstall and hope that works or call Adobe for another copy of the software.

How many editors does it take to change a light bulb?
