  Can’t change video out settings to record to blackmagic ssd drive

  Hello All,

  I have a Sony PMW 200 which is great. I’ve been recording to 32 gig SxS cards, but I want to also record to the BlackMagic HyperDeck shuttle as well. I’ve set it up and it’s recording fine, but I can’t find a way to adjust the settings for the video out to the blackmagic deck. On my SxS cards I’m recording at 1080 / 29.97. But for the “Video Set” menu on my camera which controls the video, it doesn’t match, and the settings are greyed out. Does anyone know how to change the video output settings so I can match my card settings? Right now, it’s recording to the blackmagic deck at such high quality that it’s filling up the card much faster than my SxS cards. No matter what I do, I can’t get those greyed out settings in the “VIDEO SET” menu to allow me to change them.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
