    Hi,

I have searched far and wide for an answer to this but nothing so far..

I am syncing my H4n recorded audio with my 5D footage and I have done this on plenty of projects before- changing speed value to 99.9% & everything works fine (from this tut: https://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/h4n_audio_recorder_graham.html ). However! The project I am currently working on one of the two audio files won’t be set to 99.9%. It just jumps to 99.91% as soon as I click ok. If I put in 99.89% it sets it as 99.89% and if I set it to 99.899% it jumps up to 99.91% again… argh!

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hemma 🙂

The reason you are using the .1% speed change is because you are not importing audio assets correctly in the first place.

Using speed changes is not the best way to fix this. Have a look at this tutorial particularly the second half for the correct method to import audio assets in FCP –
