    Hello,

I’m having a problem with a HVR-M15N (Hdv player). I working on a G4 1GHz and when I open Final Cut Pro 5.1.4, it doesn’t connect to the player. But when I open the Log and Capture window I can control de player but can’t get no image. The strange thing is when I use iMovie it connect perfect. Is there anything that I can do to fix this? So that I can use it on FCP.

    See if this helps

Also it might help to answer these generic questions:

Be as exact as you can.

What settings are on the media? Did you shoot in 12-bit (32K) or 16-bit (48K)? Are you in North America? Did you shoot in standard format or anamorphic (widescreen)?

What settings are you using in Final Cut? Depending on what you answer above will determine what settings you use.

    What computer are you using?

What drives? Any external drive or device connected?

    What camera or deck?

How’s everything connected? Is the camera connected through an external device or directly into the computer?

What version of the application are you using?

    What version of the OS?

    What version of QuickTime?

    All the best,

    Tom
