Cant Add Effects in Final Cut Pro 5.0.4
Hey guys and Gals;
New to FCP, was using it for about 4 months now with no problems when all of a sudden my video transitions and video filters became grayed out under Effects tab. Even the Effects Bar above the Browser window disappeared. I think this became a problem when I changed the name of my scratch disk on my external Hard-drive, Maybe? Any thoughts or Suggestions?

Change the name back and see what happens. Also, trash prefs & repair permissions.

Hi i got a question, i have Final cut pro 6, i tried to aply a transition or olor correct, but i cannot see the effect on any of the viewer windows, i tried going into system preferences>render control> Checked Filters, i still cannot see any difference.
I have tried draging to a transition, apllying an effect from the tab and from the menu, could you please help?
