  Canon’s XL H1 HDV & FCP Advice…

  Hey there thanks for your thoughts in advance, I appreciate your input.
  We have a shoot coming up on the H1 and have a few things we are trying to decide on.
  We are looking to capture the footage on site to an external hard drive and was wondering about the firestore with 1080i? Is there a better way?

  Also what would be the best way to transfer that footage into FCP? Am I jsut over thinking this and it’s really as easy as importing from an external drive?
