Canon xl2 capturing error dv 4:3
I’m trying to log min DV tape that was shot on a canon xl2 aspect 4:3. I’m unsure of the frame rate (24p/30p/60i)… Is there a way of figuring out the frame rate? Also how can i capture the footage using a DV output from camera to firewire into mac. I’m using final cut pro as my editing software what should my easy set up be? I tried using DV NTSC Firewire Basic and it keeps stalling or getting dropped frames.
