  Canon XF400 (8bit 4k vs 10bit 1080p)

  Hi. I am preparing for the arrival of a new XF400 ????. I am intending to record by HDMI to a Ninja V 5″ and edit in Magix.

  The manual p106 shows the external (only) HDMI recording modes.

  In your opinion, which of these two modes do you think would likely produce better results for wildlife footage displayed on youtube?

  4k 4:2:2 8bit

  1080p 4:2:2 10 bit
