    Dear Friends,

    I’m going to buy a Canon xf300, but I heard that it is not recognised by FCPX to import files directly from camera….and you should need a transcoding workflow…etc etc

    are there some helping plugins…?
    Anybody experienced…?
    Suggestions…?

    The free Sony program XDcam Transfer actually works well for transcoding the MXF files.

    Or if you still have FCP6 or 7 the log and transfer works fine.

    I also understand there will soon be a Canon update for FCPX so it will work in FCPX.
