Hi – I hope someone might be able to help me. I’ve booked a Canon XF305 to film an event for a charity at the beginning of the week. I need to ingest the rushes into Final Cut Pro 7.0 on Mac OSX 10.8.5 and I can’t seem to find the plugin that will work for this set up. I’m getting a bit worried as it is too late in the day to change the camera I’m using. I normally shoot on a Sony EX3 and had no problem using the XDCam log and transfer plugin for my rushes.

    Any help much appreciated.

Go here and near the bottom of the page are software downloads. Put in your info and see what pops up. Hopefully one of them will work.

Hi thanks for responding Tom> I think I’ve worked it out. I’ve downloaded one that seems to work on earlier version of final cut 7 (I’ve got 7.0 – never updated it). I’ve read online that there are sometimes problems with ingesting full HD through XF utility in fcp 7. Fingers crossed it works.

    Thanks again.
