I have several Canon XA-10 cameras. I doing a live symposium that will require one of the cameras to feed two monitors flanking the stage. The problem we have is the cameras feed out all the information on the viewfinder as well. Is there a way to just feed the signal to the monitors without the photographer information?

    Thank you in advance,

You’ll need to download the manual and see if the camera is capable of outputting a clean signal over HDMI. A “clean signal” means that the camera sends out only the image and not additional information like time/date stamp, battery info, etc. Many of Canon’s cameras do not output a clean signal. Some do however. But you’ll need to look through the manual or go through the settings on the camera to see if there’s an option to turn that off.
