  Canon Vixia M40 AVCHD Premiere import/export settings

  I have a bunch of Canon Vixia M40 AVCHD files that I would like to import into Premiere and then export to view on my desktop or be able to work on later. These are the two formats from the Vixia M40 AVCHD files that I have.

  Format: H264, 1440×1080, 59.9fps
  AC-3, 256.0kbps, 48.0kHz 16bit, 2 channels

  I’m not sure what pre-set to use for this one. I’m thinking of AVCHD 1080i30 (60i) but the frame rate is 29.97 instead of 59.9fps. What would be the export settings?

  AC-3, 256.0kbps, 48.0kHz 16bit, 2 channels

  I’m thinking of using the pre-set AVCHD folder > 1080p folder > AVCHD 1080p60 pre-set on import for the project folder but what would be the export settings?

  I’m just not sure what the conversion settings should be any help would be much appreciated.
