  Canon T5i and Blackmagic Design Hyperdeck Shuttle 2

  I’m looking at getting a Canon T5i to use with a Blackmagic Design Hypershuttle 2. I plan on connecting the two via an HDMI cable.

  Has anyone worked with this combination? And, can someone confirm that if I plug an external mike into the T5i, the sound will actually come out the HDMI cable while I’m recording please?
