I have two Canon DSLRs (600D and 5D Mark III). I have them both set to PAL video system and 1920/25, yet when I export the footage into Davinci Resolve, or even use the right-click menu in Windows Explorer, it shows the frame-rate is 23.976. I’m also outputting the 5D to a Ninja Blade, and getting true 1920/25 in Prores there. Can someone shed some light on what might be going on? I’m disappointed to say the least that I’ve shot a fair amount of footage with both cameras, only to find out that I’m now dealing with two different frame rates. Thanks for any help.

Well, I changed the frame rate of the D600 in Resolve to match the 25p from the Ninja Blade, and it syncs up with the audio just fine, which was recorded on an external recorder. I’m thinking the cameras are both shooting in 25p, but for some reason, the meta data coming from the Canons says 23.976. Has anyone else experienced this?
