  • Canon HV20 capture on an Intensity Card using FCP 6

Has anyone had success in controlling the HV20 when connected to the Black Magic Intensity card (via HDMI) during Log/Capture on FCP 6.0? FCP sees the footage but I can only capture now. Attaching the firewire cable and setting deck control to Firewire NTSC does not seem to work. Would appreciate any help concerning this matter.

    Cheers

Any progress on this? I’m having the same issue and if there is in fact no solution, I’ll need to return some equipment.

Blackmagic’s site says that deck control via Firewire is supported. FCP and PPRO?

I’m on FCP 6.0.2 and trying to capture 24f material from HV20 through Intensity Pro via HDMI to 1920×1080 23.98 ProRes HQ.

    Thanks,
    Ted
