  • Canon HG10 can’t initialize the HDD?

I bought a new HDD, which named Samsung HS040HB and set it up to HG10. I’ve tried to “Initialize the HDD” to be able use and record videos but HG10 doesn’t initialize the Samsung HS040HB. I made a video about it:

Why I can’t initialize this Samsung HS040HB on HG10? It’s the same interface and same capacity with the Toshiba MK4009GAL :S
Samsung HS040HB is perfectly fine. I’ve tried 6 different HDDs (5 of them were HS040HB and one of them was 100GB another Toshiba disk) and none of them worked it on HG10. I can’t understand this. HG10 only initializes the Toshiba MK4009GAL (the disk which came with it) and it has bad sectors which errors cause recordings fail. I have to replace it.
