  Canon HF S200 –>Log & Transfer

  When I import my S200 footage (MXP/24mps/30p) into Final Cut Pro 7, my sequence defaults to the footage specs, which is fine. The issue I have is that when I look at the sequence spec’s it’s set on “1920×1080 – 60i (16:9)”. Shouldn’t it just be “1920×1080” progressive wihout the interlacing? Am I reading this incorrectly? Any guidance is appreciated.
