Canon Gl2 iris wheel seems to be broken
I just bought a factory refurbished GL2 and I am luckily still under the 90-day warranty.
My problem is that whenever I turn my exposure to manual and try to adjust the exposure levels manually something malfunctions and the levels just go straight to the maximum setting and are stuck there until I turn the camera back to auto or another exposure setting. For example, if I try to adjust the f-stop, the level will just go as high as it can go and I cannot bring it back down unless I turn the camera to auto.
So in a few words, I can’t use manual exposure. I’m hoping not to have to send the camera in, but is there something else I might hopefully I’m missing.
