Canon camera GL1 GL2 are still good
I would like to purchase a Canon camera with high HD IQ and good audio quality and
I am not ready yet to spend around 3K to buy XF2 or something.
I heard that GL1 and GL2 are ‘good’ IQ/audio for normal conditions (no low light etc). Is it true? (they are pretty cheap used)
Are they still good? How are colors? Are they still supported by Canon?
Does modern iMac / FCP works well with them -

Hi Andrei,
I have a Canon GL2 and had it for years. It’s a great camera for its time and now it’s time to put it to rest and move onto HD cameras. Save your money and move on to HD.You can view some footage on my Peru Gallery. All video was shot with the Canon GL2 and you make the decision.
