Just trying to get some solid information on these codecs for the C100 Mark ii.

mp4 has a higher bit rate at 35mbps, but am wondering if AVCHD just does a better job at retaining quality at it’s maximum of 28mbps. Both codecs are intraframe, correct?

What real differences are there between the two aside from file size, and ability to capture in-camera slow motion (in the mp4 setting).

Thanks in advance. Open to suggestions/corrections.

I haven’t seen much difference between the two and just stick with the mp4
