How is the work flow with FCP X? Considering getting the cam and reading mixed experiences from a google search.

Shoot footage. Drag to event. Edit. If your preferences are to transcode to ProRes or proxy, it will do so in the background. But there is no need on a newer machine. It runs great on a 2011 or 2012 i7 iMac and I really can’t tell the difference. I done quite a few 5D multicam shoots and it works great natively.

Thanks. Good to hear. Hopefully the budget goes through and we’ll get to play with one.
