  Canon 5D / Camcorder workflow

  What’s the best workflow when mixing Z1 with 5D footage for output on web and SD DVD?

  I’ve been transcoding the H.264s to Apple Pro Res and digitising the Z1 HDV 1080i footage in uncompressed (cutting in FCP) then exporting as quicktime. Am I missing any key stages, should I be deinterlacing the HDV?

  What are people finding is the best camcorder to use in conjunction with the 5d (ex1, z5, 305?)
