  • Canon 4 K .rmf Supported in FCPX?

I am using an odyssey 7q to record Canon 4k raw ( .rmf Files) Does, or should FCPX support that format or is there some plug in needed for those files to work in FCPX?

AFAIK, no. I think you have to use the Canon or maybe CD software to convert those to something else, like a DPX string. Then use Resolve or After Effects to turn those into QT files that you can use in FCP X.

you need to get stuff from both,

CD has the app to convert and transfer the files and Canon has the updated software to handle the RAW codec.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand the shorthand “CD”
