Canon 300… if you want one, now’s a good time.
We’ve been anticipating getting a C300PL and Canon has had a good lease deal on the C300’s all summer, 24 months with a $1 buyout… so essentially they are financing it for two years for free.
We’d planned to lease one, but me being a procrastinator I waited until the last day of the promotion period, Friday. When I called the dealer to finally pull trigger on the deal, she said, “Umm, I’ve heard some rumblings from Canon, lemme call my rep and call you right back.”
Well, she did call back in a couple of minutes with good news… that Canon was extending their lease period through the end of the year, AND she said “Shhh, it’s not offcially announced but they will begin offering a $1000 rebate on the camera starting Monday… I’d wait until after the weekend.”
So we did… and sho’nuff Canon annouced the rebate earlier today. Glad we waited, for once being lazy paid off.
It’s a good time for this camera, if it suits your needs.
