Posted by Justin Ogrosky on March 11, 2023 at 11:24 pm

Need help with getting my Vegas Pro 18 to recognize the 4K footage I shot on my Canon EOS-1D X Mark II. The footage plays flawlessly in windows media player and Premiere Pro.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Open Vegas Pro, go to Options -> Preferences -> Deprecated Features and tick “Enable the QuickTime plugin”.

If you don’t see such an option or it doesn’t work, you might have to download/reinstall QuickTime.
