Canon 1D X not working via log and transfer FCP7
We are just about to start editing a project but can’t seem to open up Canon 1D X footage on FCP7.
The EOS plug-in works fine in log and transfer with the 5d mk3’s and the c100’s.
Was wondering if you guys had encountered the same problem and any potential workarounds or alternatives with exception of different editing platform!

That camera might not be supported. The EOS Log and Transfer plugin covers a lot of cameras, but not all. The 5D Mark III doesn’t work, the T2i (550D) only works with a hack. I know the 1D works, but 1D X might be too new, and not work. Like the Mark III doesn’t work.
In which case you’ll need to use Compressor.
