Cannot use XDCam EX QT Files
I did search for this topic, perhaps not extensively enough, if not, sorry.
I am on Avid MC 5.0.3.7r, Win Xp pro, SP3. I cannot import these HD files. When I AMA link, I get audio & Black screen. On a MAC, in QT, the files play, movie inspector says: Apple XDCAM EX 1080i60, 29.97fps, 35.5mbps data rate. It appears obvious to me that i do not have this codec on my PC. I have been succesful in using ProRes files. What can I do to edit with these on the PC? Thanks in advance.

TY! I think i should just use Avid on a MAC like I did years ago. 🙂

Btw, I’m having performance issues with the Calibrated XD plugin. Carefully test your workflow with their demo before buying it.
